Description

Great mountain tour on well-marked, but in places steep and stony paths leading into high alpine terrain. A 3,000m peak that is relatively easy to reach with surefootedness and a head for heights.
The Rinnenspitze is centrally located in the rear Oberberg valley and is an excellent vantage mountain. The deep view to the Rinnensee and on the other side to the huge Lüsener Ferner is unique. From the Franz Senn Hut, immediately after the Alpeiner Bach stream, take the marked trail towards Rinnennieder/Rinnensee. Shortly before the Rinnensee, the trail leads to the right up to the ridge, which is climbed with the help of steel ropes and iron steps. Finally, you climb left over the sharp, but also secured ridge to the summit cross. A 3,000-metre peak that is relatively easy to reach with surefootedness and a head for heights, as the difficult parts are well secured with climbing aids and wire ropes. You can enjoy impressive views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers.
