Running & trail running in the Stubaital
Runners do not have to adapt their fitness plans when spending their holidays in the Stubaital.
Running enthusiasts will find a varied offer all over the valley, from flat roads that take them through the entire valley to challenging alpine tracks with fascinating views. The alpine scenery with breath-taking waterfalls and mountain lakes makes the region an incomparable natural resource.
Trails
Events for Trailrunner
The Stubai Ultratrail 2025 has the new motto "EPIC TRAILS. EPIC VALLEY." and promises a spectacular trail running experience in the most beautiful valley in the Alps. The Stubai Ultratrail will take place on the weekend of June 27-28, 2025 and will take runners on 5 different distances through the breathtaking landscape of the Stubai Valley. All routes start and finish in Neustift, making the event a true festival for trail runners.
In September, the KALKKÖGELTRAIL (formerly Schlickeralmlauf) takes place in the Schlick.
