On your bike and up the hill!
What skiing is in winter, biking is in summer. In the Stubaital, the biking arena in the heart of Tyrol, there are numerous trails and routes on offer to explore the region on two wheels. All bikers, from extreme athletes all the way to leisurely e-bikers, will find a matching challenge.
The 720 km long comprehensive trail network in the Stubaital with a difference in altitude of approximately 13,000 m offers sufficient variety and is arranged in line with the Mountain Biking Model Tyrol. All routes are properly sign-posted. Interactive maps as well as QR codes at the signs facilitate navigation through unknown areas.
Racing bikers can use the asphalted Stubai alpine road to ascent to the Valley Station of the Stubaier Gletscherbahn. Beginners and advanced cyclists can improve their technique in the Bike Academy in Fulpmes with the help of expert bike guides. You can ride everywhere with e-bikes, but only the eight specially designed e-bike routes feature rentals and charging stations.
Along the bike routes there are special accommodation facilities for bikers that cater specially to the needs of cyclists. In addition to savoury biker’s meals, they also provide repair services and bike wash stations.
