Description

Circular hike in the front Stubaital, with a visit to two bridge monuments: In Schönberg, the Stefansbrücke, Austria's largest stone arch bridge, and the Europabrücke, which lives up to its name and at 192 m remains the highest bridge in Austria.

From the centre of Telfes, we first follow the path along the railway track of the Stubaitalbahn. After the bird of prey park, the pleasant meadow path continues to the Gallhof farm, from here we take the forest path uphill for a short distance and at the next fork in the path we turn onto a trail that leads down to the Stefansbrücke bridge. We cross the Stefansbrücke bridge and hike up the other side of the stream towards Schönberg. From Schönberg we take the so-called Stollensteig trail through the forest back to Telfes.
