Description

Wonderful climbing garden with an impressive backdrop. Its altitude makes it a worthwhile destination not just on hot summer days, but in the autumn too as it is south-facing.
Character: technically demanding rock and slab climbing on largely perfect rock
Length of route: 12 to 28m
Difficulty level: 5b to 6c+

Tip for a extended day’s climbing on the Elfer: Follow the sun! Spend the morning in the climbing garden and enjoy the afternoon sun in one of the beautiful multi-pitch climbs on the west and north side of the Elfer towers. For a stress-free descent - regardless of when the last cable car goes - deposit a bike at the mountain station.
