Trip to by car:

From Innsbruck via Brenner motorway A13 (toll) or on the federal road towards Stubai valley to Neustift and to the bottom station of the Stubai glacier cableways. Ascend by the gondola to the mid-station, 5 minutes to Dresdner hut and another 10 minutes to the climbing garden

Description

Beside the Fernau via ferrata there are some interesting sport climbing routes up to a length of 4 pitches.

For years the climbing terrain Fernau nearby the Stubai glacier ski resort was unnoticed. It was more a coincidence that Stubai mountain guides found ideal climbing conditions there. Beside the Fernau via ferrata have been constructed some interesting sport climbing routes up to a length of 4 pitches.

Relatively steep routes in a fantastically handy rock, short distances of the intermediate belays stand in good stead for the beginners' mind.
