Description

FROM THE ROSE FRAGRANCE TO TROUT FARMING

Characterisation
A simple, scenic hike through wide forest paths with views of Innsbruck. Ideal for flower lovers - over 100 award-winning rose varieties await you along the way.

Description
The Rosendorf Telfes is the sunniest place in the Stubai valley and therefore the ideal place for over 1,500 rose bushes. The hike starts in the town centre and leads you through the idyllic Telfer meadows to the Stockerhof snack stop. Conoisseurs are advised to make their first stop here, with a panoramic view over the Innsbruck basin and one of the home-baked cake specialties. Then comes a brief descent to the railway tracks continuing on through the larch meadows to Gallhof. Along the valley floor, the wide path leads you to the Kirchbrücke trout farm. Here you can enjoy fresh trout - straight from the water onto your plate. Bon appetit! The last stretch is the half-hour climb to the awe-inspiring parish church of Telfes.
