Ascent to the Innsbrucker Hut

From the Karalm – by taxi
From the Neustift district of Neder, you can either make the trip through the Pinnis Valley to the Karalm on foot (takes about two hours) or by shared taxi. You can reach the Innsbrucker Hut in about 1.5 - 2 hours via a path which gradually becomes steeper as you go along.

From Neustift – by cable car
After a short trip with the Elferlift cable car from Neustift, you can hike along the panoramic trail to the Pinnisalm (approx. 1 hour), or to the Karalm by way of the Elfer Hut, which takes about 1.5 hours. From this rustic and cosy alpine inn, it takes about another 1.5 hours to get to the hut.
