Kalkkögeltrail Stubai

Summer | Autumn | Herbsthighlights | Weekend | Short stay | Event
Telfes | Telfes - Schlick 2000

The "Dolomites of North Tyrol" form the backdrop for the Kalkkögeltrail with a 42 km marathon run and a 16 km run to get into the trail running scene. Runners will run on the original route of the Schlickeralmlauf as well as some parts of the trail short and long distances of the World Championships in June 2023.

Marathonrun Kalkkögeltrail K42 (42km)
A circuit around the Stubai Seven Summit peak - Hoher Burgstall, as well as the summit of the Saile with views as far as the Wilder Kaiser make this marathon trail unrivalled. After almost 2700 metres of ascent and descent, the adventure comes to an end with a start and finish area in the centre of Telfes.

Kalkkögeltrail K16 (16km)
The K16 is a somewhat more manageable route up into the Schlick. After circling the panoramic lake, the route turns below the Kalkkögel via the Gloatsteig trail to the highest point, the Bergler Bründl, before approaching the refreshment station at the Pfarrachalm in gentle ups and downs. After covering 900 metres in altitude, the technically demanding route leads back to Telfes via the Hirtensteig.

Supporting programme
The supporting programme of the Kalkkögeltrails offers a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. The youngest members of the family can take part in the Sumsi children's run, while adults and children alike can have fun at the Zipfer charity run. There is something for all ages to experience and enjoy.
