Exciting insights into an <br>ancient folk culture
In the 500-year-old Platzwirt house in the middle of the village, there are numerous historically valuable Christmas cribs on display. Children especially love visiting the crib museum during their family holidays in the Stubai.
The small treasures of the Crib Lovers of Fulpmes exude a charm of their own and in this way convey the Tyrolean identity. Visitors discover cribs of the old masters, artist cribs, works created by crib lovers, the famous “peeping hole cribs”, a walk-in crib and the church crib labyrinth.
Beyond that, the modern museum concept offers insight into the genesis, the folk culture and the techniques of building cribs. The crib industry (=landscaping) is presented in a particularly exciting way.
