"PURE STUBAI" - Autumn Highlights - Traditional livestock drive Fulpmes

The Almabtrieb in Fulpmes is one of the most atmospheric autumn events in the Stubaital. When the animals return from the alpine pastures to the valley, the town center of Fulpmes transforms into a colorful celebration zone full of traditions, music, and culinary delights. The Almabtrieb is not only a sign of a successful summer in the mountains but also a vibrant piece of Tyrolean culture that attracts numerous visitors each year.

Program:

• from around 11:00 a.m. farmers' market in the Fulpmes pavilion with musical accompaniment by "Junge Völser Tanzlmusig"
• around 12:00 p.m. arrival of the animals in the village
• afterwards, celebration in the pavilion with live music by "Sonnwend"

Lived Tradition in the Heart of Fulpmes
The Almabtrieb has a long history in Fulpmes. The festive day is lovingly organized by the local youth and young farmers, accompanied by many volunteers from the village. The cows, artistically adorned with colorful flower wreaths, mirrors, and bells, along with other animals, parade through the center of Fulpmes – an impressive spectacle that expresses respect and gratitude towards nature and farming life. Especially for guests from the city, it is a special experience to witness this authenticity up close.
