Neustifter Tuifllauf with Nikolaus procession

On November 28th it is time again: The annual Tuifllauf (Krampuslauf) of the Nuistifter Tuifl brings locals and guests from all over the world together to experience an unforgettable spectacle.

This year, the fascinating event will also take place.
The estimated start time is at 5:30 p.m. with the ceremonial procession of St. Nicholas, followed by a lively aftershow party directly in the hall of the leisure center. Food and drink will be abundantly provided, ensuring all visitors are culinary spoiled.

The Tradition of Tuifllaufen

The Tuifllauf of the Nuistifter Tuifl is much more than just an event – it is a tradition deeply rooted in the culture of the region. The Tuifl, with their handcrafted masks and magnificent costumes, parade through the streets to drive away evil spirits and welcome winter. Particularly impressive are the intricately detailed masks, crafted with great love for the trade. Each mask is unique and tells its own story.

The participants of the group "Nuistifter Tuifl" have dedicated themselves to keeping the customs alive and providing visitors with an authentic and impressive performance. For the younger ones, there is also the children's Tuifllauf, where young Tuifl fans can actively participate.

Access and Parking:
Access to the Tuifllauf is possible by both car and bus. However, please note that there are only limited parking spaces. Therefore, traveling by bus is recommended.
