Follow the signposts to the Starkenburger Hut. Heading past the turn-offs to the Rinnensee and Horntalerjoch, the trail leads high above the Oberberg Valley. Crossing the Villergrube (partially secured), you will reach the Seducker Hochalm (food and drink served) after 2 ½ hours and the Sendersjöchl after another 2 ½ hours (with a steep final ascent). Then take the path alongside the ridge to the Seejöchl. Follow the signposts to the Starkenburger Hut, past the turn-off to the Schlickerscharte. After approx. 7 hours, you will have reached the Starkenburger Hut, your destination for this stage.
