Those who would like to delve even deeper into the snow-covered landscape near the Serles lifts will be thrilled by a snowshoe hike. With walking times between 20 minutes and 1.5 hours on the marked winter hiking trails, snowshoe beginners and experienced hikers will both be in their element. At the highest point of the route, the snowshoe hikers reach an altitude of 1,879 m.

From the Koppeneck mountain station to just before the Ochsenhütte, south to the mountain station of the drag lift, continue to the Gleinser Jöchl. Descent the same way as ascent or return via Kasern and the Zangger Brunnen (round trip).
From the Koppeneck mountain station to the Ochsenhütte, continue via the Zangger Brunnen to the Gleinser Steig and onto the Gleisner Jöchl. Downhill along the direct ascent route to the mountain station.
From the Koppeneck mountain station to the Ochsenhütte and on via the Zangger Brunnen to the Gleinser Mähdern. Continue to the Maria Waldrast monastery and along the hiking trail back to the Ochsenhütte.
From the valley station of the Serles lifts eastwards to the Zirkenhof, through the Wassertal valley onto Kasern and onto the Gleinser Jöchl. From the summit northwards along the normal route to the Ochsenhütte and the Koppeneck mountain station.
