Huts & alpine pastures around the Serlesbahnen

A leisurely rest stop is a must when spending the day out in nature and completes your holiday experience in the Stubaital. At the Serlesbahnen skiing and hiking area in Mieders there are restaurants at the stations and quaint huts along the hiking trails and sled runs that invite guests to stay. Traditional Tyrolean snacks, Knödel, apple strudel and many other delicacies await you there. Punch and Jagertee will warm you in winter – special importance is attached to Tyrolean hospitality. At the Koppeneck Summit Station you can also start the Stubaier Genussrouten trail that takes you to the Gleinserhof.

Mountain inn Koppeneck - 1.600 M

Directly at the mountain station of the Serles lifts. Enjoy a wide range of food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. Inviting sun terrace invites you to linger.

Ochsenhütte Mieders - 1.582 M

Alpine hut, approx. 15 minutes from the top station. Many hiking trails and MTB routes lead past. Idyllic wooden terrace with children's playground and wonderful views. Enjoy Tyrolean home cooking. Open until the end of October, no day off!

Maria Waldrast Monastery Inn - 1.641 m

Directly at the pilgrimage site, with large sun terrace and
parking lot. Hot meals all day, seminar rooms and renovated
renovated double rooms with bath or shower/WC. Open all day
open all day.

Alpine Inn Sonnenstein - 1.400 M

Cozy sun terrace and children's playground, small petting zoo.
Hot meals all day. Reachable from the Serlesbahnen Mieders via the wild hiking trail in approx. 45 min. From Fulpmes, Medraz and Mieders approx. 1.5 hours walk.

Beautiful mountain bike route with cozy refreshment stop. No rest day!

Alpine Inn Gleinserhof - 1.420 M

Family-friendly hiking trails to the Gleinserhof, sun terrace with wonderful views into the Stubaital, Tyrolean cuisine, large children's playground, sunbathing lawn, deckchairs, petting animals on the farm; walking time from the Serlesbahnen mountain station 1.5 hrs, from Mieders and Schönberg 1 hr, closed on Mondays.

Blaserhütte - 2.180 M

Tyrol's most flowery mountain with a magnificent panoramic all-round view. Home-made Tyrolean specialities. Overnight stays for up to 27 people. Well signposted hiking trails via the Stubai, Matrei, Steinach or Trins. MTB route from Trins. Open from June to September.
