The trails in the hiking and recreational area in the Stubaital near Mieders take you through the magnificent mountain world of the Stubai Alps. The Kaser-Mahder-Steig circular hiking trail goes along the border of the Zillertal and the Stubai Alps. Those looking for impressive photo opportunities, particularly coming from Innsbruck, come to the right place at the Kaser-Mander-Steig. Rare flowers and colourful blooms await hikers along the way to the Blaser, one of Tyrol’s most flowery mountains. The Quellenweg will lead you past gushing springs, captivating hikers with myths and legends. A special holiday experience in the Stubaital is a sunrise hike to the summit of the Serles. Early risers are rewarded with an amazing interplay of colours that you can only experience in the mountains. New: Eulenwiesen circular trailStarting from the Koppeneck Summit Station, take the forest trail towards Eulenwiesen. Past the Ochsenhütte continue along the forest path to Eulenwiesen. After approx. 40 minutes you will reach a fork where you turn to the right towards Gleinser Mähder. Along the high alpine meadows you will reach the Eulenwiesen after a short, but steep climb. The forest path at the end of the Eulenwiesen leads to Gleinserhöfe. From there a trail takes you back down to the Serlesbahnen Valley Station. You need approx. 3½ hours for the entire round trip. You will surely be enchanted by the natural beauty of the Eulenwiesen, a unique photo opportunity, no matter what the season.
