You have now reached the final stage of the Stubai High Trail. But this stage presents new challenges. The section from the Bremer Hut to the Innsbrucker Hut is among the most demanding stages of the Stubai High Trail. It requires 6 to 7 hours of hiking, including three climbs (each with an ascent / descent of approx. 200 to 300 metres). This part of the tour of the high alpine huts is intended for experienced mountaineers and is a ‘fair weather route’.

For experienced hikers (in good weather!), the trail initially leads downwards through a short chimney, well-secured by ropes and supports, above the mountain lake ‘Lauterer See’.  Alternatively, less experienced hikers can take the ‘normal route’, which leads down below the material lift.

Both routes ultimately lead to the Trauljöchl, initially sloping gently and then becoming steeper.  The descent runs via the Blockwerk and crosses the Große Traulgrube. This is followed by an ascent secured by ropes along the Wasenwand to the Pramarspitze. From there, you pass through the Glättegrube and climb up to the Sendesgrat on the other side. At the foot of the Habicht, one of the most striking mountains of the Stubai Valley, there is a slight descent past the mountain lake ‘Alfaier See’ to the Innsbrucker Hut.
