The huts can be very busy during the holidays and at weekends.
Try to hike outside the peak season and make your reservations well ahead of time, especially when hiking in a group.
Are you already on a hike? In that case, we recommend that you get in touch with the hut where you want to stay the night as early as possible so they can plan for you when organising the sleeping arrangements. Alpine Club members are given priority for overnight accommodation.
The hut management may request a deposit for reservations. The full amount after deduction of bank fees can only be refunded if the reservation is cancelled in writing (by email or letter) at least 10 days in advance.
