Winter in the Stubai Valley
Not only friends of alpine winter sports, such as skiers and snowboarders, are in good hands in the Stubai Valley. Those who prefer to spend their winter holiday away from the slopes will also find a wealth of offers here. Classified natural toboggan runs, idyllic winter hiking trails and snow-covered routes for snowshoe hiking ensure this. In addition, skaters as well as classic cross-country skiers will find a wealth of variety on the trails, whether in the valley or on the mountain. Ice lovers glide on two blades over the smooth surfaces of the ice rinks in Neustift and Fulpmes. Action fans take to the skies with paragliding and hang gliding or climb frozen waterfalls and an ice tower on the Stubai Glacier with crampons and ice axe.
