From the Schlick 2000 carpark, go left past the base station on a good path as you slightly ascend through beautiful winter forests for about 900 m until you reach a fork in the trail. Turn right towards the Fronebenalm restaurant, then keep following the path. Return on the same route or continue on for about 10 minutes to the Froneben midway station and take the cable car back to the starting point.
