The Wilde Grube Ride course is not only exceptionally long, but also technically demanding. It begins at the Wildspitz mountain station at around 3,210 meters, where participants can enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding alpine scenery before the adventure begins.
The new route initially follows the training slope next to piste no. 9 (Daunenhang) and continues onto piste no. 7 (Daunferner). Here, participants pass through the speed measurement section before switching to ski route no. 23 (Murmele) shortly after the Murmele top station. The ride then continues on piste no. 3 (Gamsgarten), where the most challenging section of the Wilde Grube Ride awaits, before finishing at the Fernau mid-station at 2,290 meters.
We look forward to an exciting event and thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding!
The athletes' briefing will take place on-site at the Stubai Glacier, in the Gamsgarten restaurant area, after the course inspection on Saturday. During the briefing, participants will receive all essential information about the schedule, the course layout, and safety requirements. The detailed timetable, starting procedure, and key course features will also be explained. In addition, participants will be given recommendations on required equipment, conduct on the course, and emergency procedures. A briefing document containing all relevant details will already be included in the starter pack. The purpose of the briefing is to ensure a smooth and safe event experience and to clarify any remaining questions.
