At one time everything consumed in Tyrol was produced by local farmers.
In our globalised age we are of course no longer dependent only on the products of domestic agriculture. However, those who appreciate regional value-creation chains and their benefits still prefer to buy local farm products. Both visitors and residents love the variety and excellent quality of Stubai's farmers' markets. Good food enthusiasts find aromatic cheeses here, as well as fresh sausage, bacon, 'Kasspressknödel' dumplings, exquisite spirits, honey and many more of the valley's top products.
