Hiking around the Kalkkögel
When spending a sportive day around the Kalkkögel, a visit of the StubaiBlick viewing platform is a must. Thanks to the breath-taking view it is a indeed a unique site. Leisurely hikers can skip the first ascent, using the cable cars exiting at the Froneben Intermediate Station or the Kreuzjoch Summit Station and start their mountain tour from there.
Panorama trail and viewing platform "StubaiBlick" - Schlick 2000
A short Panorama Trail, again suitable for the whole family, leads to the platform, while along the way, unusual seats and benches designed by local artists allow you to stop and enjoy the view. A particular highlight of the Schlick hiking region is the “StubaiBlick” viewing platform set at 2.160 m.

Alpine plant learning path - Schlick 2000
Just above the vegetation level you can find a high diversity of plants. Starting from the Kreuzjoch mountain station, the circular route to the peak of the Kreuzjoch reaches an altitude of 2,170m and takes visitors back to the mountain station.

Nature Trail - Schlick 2000
Another family-friendly trail is the Nature Trail. This path is suitable for pushchairs and leads from the Kreuzjoch to the Schlicker Alm. A number of interesting stops provide ample opportunity to learn about the mountains surrounding the Stubai Valley. In fact, there is so much to find out about the rocks, trees and animals that the 2 hour walk through stone pine woods and alpine pastures simply flies by.

Disc Trail - Schlick 2000
Making hiking fun!
Race your wooden companion! The wooden disc rolls down a rail alongside the path and is inserted at special stations. Enjoy whirling fun on this beautiful trail from Panorama Lake to Froneben Intermediate Station. Your family and friends can enjoy a wide and easily walkable trail that is also suitable for prams.

Stubai Baumhausweg - Schlick 2000
A number of tree houses invite you to discover, play and take a rest on the new Stubai Baumhausweg. Dwarf Bardin will take you along the Baumhausweg (tree house path) to hunt for hidden treasure in his home. Large and small visitors alike are met with a colourful playground between the ground and the tree tops for climbing, rampaging, and trying things out. In addition to the slide, the double rope swing and the rope bridge, there is also the cable car, the net tunnel, the swinging house, the pick-a-sticks with branches and lots more, all offering loads of fun and action.
