Cross-Country Skiing at Schlick 2000
Cross-country skiing keeps you fit and is considered to be especially health-promoting thanks to exercising almost all muscles. Anyone looking for a different kind of cross-country skiing experience will find what they are looking for at the Schlick 2000. The circular high cross-country trail at the Schlick 2000 ski centre lies at over 1,600 m and thus offers a unique cross-country skiing experience in the alpine landscape around the Kalkkögel. The 3.5 km long round course with a total difference in altitude of 75 m leads you along the Schlickerboden through marvellous larch and spruce forests and is considered particularly capable of withstanding snow loads. Cross-country skiers can reach the trail from the Schlick 2000 valley station with the gondola lift section I to Froneben. Then either on foot, with the lodge taxi (for a fee) or, only for experienced skiers, with cross-country skis to the cross-country trail Schlicker Alm.
