Cross-country skiing keeps you fit and is particularly health-promoting as this sport activates almost all major muscle groups. Those after a cross-country experience of the special kind will find what they are looking for at the Schlick 2000 as well. The alpine circular cross-country trail in the Schlick 2000 skiing centre lies at over 1,600 m and offers unique cross-country skiing in the alpine setting of the Kalkkögel. The 3.5 km trail with a total difference in altitude of 75 m leads along the Schlickerboden through wonderful larch and spruce forests and is considered particularly snow secure. Cross-country skiers start from the Schlick 2000 Valley Station taking the cable car section I to Froneben. Then you either continue on foot (or skilled skiers mount their skies) to get to the cross-country trail Schlicker Alm.
