From the Olympic city of Innsbruck you can reach the Stubaital via the Brenner highway (Europabrücke), exit Schönberg - continue to the Neustift district of Schaller. There are hardly any parking spaces available in Schaller, so we recommend parking opposite the bio-heating plant (10 minutes' walk).

This hike combines winter hike no. 2 with winter hike no. 5. To do this, cross the main road in Schaller and follow the road on the left side of the stream. After about 30 minutes you will reach the Hotel Edelweiß. From there, the winter hiking trail continues to the ski lift in Krössbach.
