„Working clarinets"

The ensemble emerged in 2002 from the existing friendships between the musicians and their shared passion for ensemble playing.
Since there is little original literature for five clarinets, you can find in their repertoire primarily transcriptions of works by old masters. But also original compositions by contemporary composers are performed.
Most of their arrangements are written by the members of the ensemble themselves.
Working clarinets try to use the entire range of the clarinet family with which a great variety of sounds and programs can be achieved.

Florian Mühlberger clarinet

Florian Mühlberger completed his studies at the Tyrolean State Conservatory (with Maximilian Bauer), at the University Mozarteum Salzburg (master's degree in concert studies with Alois Brandhofer, which he graduated with distinction in 2009) and at the University of Art in Graz (post graduate with Gerald Pachinger).

Since February 2011 he has been solo clarinetist in the orchestra of the Vienna Volksoper. He also plays in various chamber music ensembles.
