Description
Are you aware of alpine risks such as avalanches?
When skiing or snowboarding out of bounds it's important to know how to help yourself in case of avalanches. In winter 2020/21 too SAAC Basic Camps take place on the Stubai Glacier.
2-day Avalanche Camp:
Certified mountain and ski guides inform on the dangers and the correct behaviour in the backcountry in theory and practice.
Day 1 - Theory (duration: approx. 3 hours)
Time: approx. 4:00 p.m. to approx. 7:00 p.m.

Day 2 - Practice (all-day)
Time: approx. 9:00 a.m. to approx. 3:30 p.m.

For this camp, you should bring your own ski/ snowboard equipment and an (avalanche) backpack. Please bring your avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel, if you have got one.
