The Tradition of the Tuifllauf

The Tuifllauf of the Nuistifter Tuifl is much more than just an event – it’s a tradition deeply rooted in the culture of the region. The Tuifl, with their handmade masks and elaborate robes, parade through the streets to drive away evil spirits and welcome winter. The intricate masks are particularly impressive, crafted with great attention to detail. Each mask is unique and tells its own story.
