Whereas tourism has taken over in a lot of places, Mieders is an untouched Tyrolean village with traditional farms and homely village inns.

Adventure Mountain Hochserles
Walking is a joy in the most beautiful recreational landscape at the bottom of the Serles (2.718m). The highmoor walk, springs walk, or a trip to the place of pilgrimage, Maria Waldrast, with its famous healing springs are unique experiences. Friends of the mountains will not be able to withstand the pleasure of climbing the Serles summit and enjoying the incredible view.
Mieders calls its local mountain “ King Serles” with good reason.

Mountainbike Paradise
Mieders enjoys a good reputation amongst mountain bikers. Around 1000m of marked routes promise ideal conditions.There are speedy tracks into the valley for downhill bikers. Uphill is easier with the modern 8-seat cable car Hochserles.

Summer Luge Stubai
Since July 2004, Mieders has one more top attraction more with the Summer Luge Stubai: 2,6 km in length, 640m altitude difference and over 40 steep loops. A feeling of flying just above the ground!

Central location
All attractions in the Stubai Valley can be reached quickly from Mieders. A trip to the provincial capital Innsbruck with its number of cultural highlights is also recommended. The journey there takes you 15 minutes by car or public transport.

Adventure Mountain Hochserles
Fantastic possibilities for winter holiday makers are guaranteed at the bottom of the mountain. The 8-seat cable car takes you fast and comfortably to the mountain station Koppeneck, where you can indulge in different wintersports ( skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter walking, Alpine touring).The optimally primed pistes offer enough room for skiers and snowboarders. Thanks to a modern snow machine there is always plenty of snow.

The high valley cross-country skiing run offers excellent conditions. At heights between 1.600 and 1.800m a network of cross-country ski runs with over 40km awaits you…

Winter Joy
A 7km nature toboggan run guarantees a special experience. The floodlit run makes it possible to enjoy tobogganing also at night time. An insider tip recommends romantic winter walks on the adventure mountain Hochserles.

Central Location
All wintersport centres can be reached from Mieders in no time. A trip to the near provincial capital Innsbruck is recommendable. It only takes you 15 minutes in the car as well as with public transport.
