Neue Regensburger Hut

2,286 metres above sea level

The Neue Regensburger Hut was built in 1930/31. It is in an impressive location above a slope at the edge of the Hohes Moos, flanked by a waterfall. To the west, there is a view of the head of the valley and the Ruderhofspitze, while the Habicht mountain towers overhead in the east. Overnight accommodation is available in shared rooms and dormitories.

Anyone wishing to take a break from hiking and mountaineering can do so in the nearby climbing park. Near the hut, there is also a small lake which is ideal for a refreshing swim on hot days; on cold days you can take a hot shower at the hut. After that you can treat yourself to a tasty meal and a glass of wine.

Facilities

The hut can accommodate up to 101 hikers and mountaineers: 64 in 2 and 4 bed rooms, 37 in mattress dormitories. The hut's own hydroelectric power station provides enough energy - even for hot showers! The washrooms were completely renovated. The cozy dining rooms can accommodate 100 guests. On the new sun terrace you can relax with traditional dishes and delicious pastries. There is also a seminar room available.
The hostess bakes exclusively herself! A large homemade cake buffet and freshly baked bread spoils the hungry hiker.

• Cooking and smoking is strictly forbidden in all buildings!
• Rucksack delivery to the Dresdner Hut is available.
• Dogs are admitted on a limited basis and only after timely reservation.
