From the train station Innsbruck are regularly running busses to Fulpmes or by the Stubai tram from Innsbruck directly to Telfes.

Trip to by car:

From the olympic city Innsbruck the Stubai valley is accessible in 20 minutes via Brenner motorway, exit Schönberg until Telfes.

Description

Varied mountain hike on good trails in the front Stubai Valley on the edge of the Kalkkögel. Enjoy the magnificent distant views from the summit into the Inn Valley to the Wilder Kaiser or the Zillertal mountains as well as to the Seven Summits Stubai.

Start the tour either at the municipal office or at the Kapfers car park at the upper end of Telfes. The trail leads mostly over beautiful forest paths, sometimes steeply uphill to the right. After about 45 minutes you will reach the meadows around "Burganna", where the path offers a view of the valley more and more often. In the upper area, you will reach the summit via mountain pine fields and have then conquered approx. 1000 metres of altitude. After a comfortable rest with a wonderful view, you continue slightly downhill towards the Pfarrachalm, the nature site just above the alp should be visited in any case.
After a pleasant stop, you have various options for the descent back to Telfes, our variant leads via Isse and the Halslweg back to the starting point.
