Description

Krößbach - Neue Regensburger Hütte via Ring and Milderaunalm.  From Krößbach you initially hike along the road to the settlement of Oberegg. Then the trail, or alternatively the forest road, leads through the Milderaun forest to the idyllically situated Milderaun Alm. Now hike westwards to the tree line and then southwestwards over steep grassy slopes, past the Hühnerspiel and the Brennerspitze, to the Kerrachgrube. Now the trail leads quite steeply up to the Ring and then almost level over the Basslerrinnen, the Schrimmenkar and the Windtratten to the Neue Regensburger Hütte. The descent is possible via the same trail or via the Falbesoner Ochsenalm to Falbeson.
