From Innsbruck main station and in the valley bus connection (590) to Neustift i. St./ Milders stop.

Trip to by car:

From the Olympic city of Innsbruck, you can reach the Stubai Valley via the Brenner motorway (Europabrücke), exit Schönberg - continue to the Milders district of Neustift. In Milders turn off in the direction of Oberbergtal and then follow the road to the car park at the hydroelectric power station.

The forest path leads from the hydroelectric power station to the Brandstattalm.

Walking time: 2 ½ hours to the Alm (descent with hire toboggan possible)
Length: 6.8 km to the alpine pasture

Start / Finish: Milders hydroelectric power station car park
Refreshment stops: Brandstattalm (1,810 m), closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (except public holidays)

This variant starts at the car park at the hydro-power station above Milders in the direction of Oberbergtal. Follow the road in the direction of Bichlhof. From there, a forest path leads to the Brandstattalm. You can return on foot taking the same path or use a rental sled for an exhilarating descent.
